Families are at the heart of everything that we do at the Vale Health & Racquets Club. From babies to teenagers, we’ve got it covered.
Looking to get your pre-pregnancy body back whilst still spending time with the little one? Buggy Babies could be right up your street. Just bring yourself and the baby and we’ll provide the enthusiasm. This is the class to meet other new parents who are going through the same experience as you. Once you’ve built up a sweat, head over to our Leisure bar, the perfect place to sit and chat over a coffee or refuel with an omelette.
When your little one is ready for a visit to the pool, our expert swimming instructors will be there to guide and teach them. We have classes ranging from babies keen to have their first swim experience to older children swimming their first mile. Kids of all ages benefit from and enjoy our swimming lessons.
You can enjoy a well-earned two hours of ‘me’ time at our health club, safe in the knowledge they’re having the time of their lives. Arts and crafts, circuit classes, junior gym or even den building sessions – there’s no time to be bored here.
Older children aged 5-15 have their very own timetable of classes and activities. These range from Junior Football Skills run by Sports Xtra, to Kangoo Jumps, Fencing and Junior Circuits. From the age of 10, our younger members can even attend their own (fully supervised) gym class. There’s nothing like starting them early!
From the age of 14, children may use the pool unsupervised (as long as a parent or guardian is on-site). From this age, they may also go into the relaxation area behind the pool where you’ll find a sauna, steam room and whirlpool bath.
We ask all members with little ones to respect the junior swim times to ensure everyone has their time of relaxation in the water. Happy swimming!
