When entering the spa we will kindly ask you to have a temperature check and sanitize your hands. You will be asked the government guideline questions regarding Covid-19 symptoms and then be guided to the spa reception desk to start your spa visit. Social distancing may lead to a small queue on arrival.
We have made changes to our reception area to include perspex screens through which our team will offer a warm welcome.
Social distancing is a top priority for all our guests and staff. Therefore we have reduced our occupancy to ensure everyone can keep a safe distance from each other and we are fortunate that our wonderful facilities can enable us to do this. We will be asking you to familiarise yourself with all of our guidance in advance of your visit.
Please note that we have removed all non-essential items from around the spa including tester products. Please ask at reception for advice regarding any retail purchases and do not touch the boxes directly. We kindly request that retail purchases are made using contactless card payment or if you’re a resident you can make a charge to your room.
We would appreciate your support to ensure that social distancing can be maintained in our changing rooms. You will be issued with your private locker in which you will find your robe and slippers. If the changing room is busy please wait for an appropriate time to change. Please place used towels and robes as directed in the changing facilities. If you would feel more comfortable you are more than welcome to bring your own towel robe and footwear and PPE. Masks will be available on request.
We will be reopening the vale spa in phases; during the first phase, we will have spa relaxation facilities available for you to enjoy, however, loungers, seating and heated waterbeds have been adjusted to facilitate social distancing measures. The pool, steam room, sauna and whirlpool bath are also now open. We kindly ask you to observe the new usage guidelines which can be found on signs next to each facility and throughout the spa, for your and other guests’ protection. We have also adjusted our airflow systems to increase the percentage of fresh air circulating.
Our Spa Cafe will be serving refreshments to purchase throughout your day. Unfortunately, we will not be offering our spa buffet until government guidelines allow. We will have a choice of plated summer salads and request you make your lunch order in advance of your visit. All food and beverage will be offered in compliance with Government guidelines with staff wearing the appropriate PPE.
All staff have received enhanced COVID-19 training and understand what’s required of them to safely run our spa facilities. Staff will arrive in their own clothes and change into their uniform. All staff will have their temperature taken on arrival every day. They will wear a mask, visor, gloves and disposable apron for every treatment and clean their treatment room thoroughly after every treatment. Our managers have received COVID-19 updated first aid training.
We have invested in new equipment to deliver enhanced anti-viral protection. Our housekeeping team will follow new, safe cleaning and sanitation processes across all areas and they will be especially vigilant around areas that are commonly touched. In addition, we have increased availability of disinfectant cleaning products, we politely ask that you help us and your fellow guests by using these products to wipe surfaces after use.
We have installed hand sanitation stations at the entrance and throughout the spa. Please could you also wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water at regular intervals and follow government guidelines which will be on display throughout the spa.
For the benefit of all guests and staff please observe the Government social distancing guidelines. We ask anyone concerned that they may be developing Covid-19 symptoms to follow the Government advice, and self-isolate in the first instance. If you have a new continuous cough, high temperature or any other symptoms associated with Coronavirus or have been advised to self-quarantine, please do not visit the spa and contact our reservations team by email to reschedule your visit.
