Vale Resort Christmas Break
Bedrooms: Bedrooms are available for early check-in from 11:00am and our check-out time is 11:00am.
Due to the very high demand for our bedrooms we cannot always guarantee your room being ready earlier than this time. In the event of your room not being ready on your arrival we will do our utmost to accommodate you. We will store any luggage and you are welcome to use our leisure facilities while you wait. Your rooms will be held for late arrival. You are welcome to use our leisure facilities prior to check in on the day of arrival, and after checkout on the day of departure.
Breakfast: Served between 7:30am-10:30am.
Dining: We strongly advise that any dinner reservations are made prior to arrival to avoid disappointment. Pre-booked Christmas Eve Afternoon Tea, Christmas Eve Dinner and Christmas Day Lunch times can be found in the comments section of your reservation details. Please make us aware of any dietary requirements prior to your arrival. If no menu choices or dietaries are received by 31st October, then chef's choice will apply.
Our Vale Bar will not be serving food after 4pm on Christmas Eve until Boxing Day morning. Only food included in your package is available at these times during your stay.
Leisure Facilities: Full use of leisure facilities including the gym, swimming pool, whirlpools, steam room and sauna are all included as part of your stay. Opening times: Christmas Eve (TBC), Christmas Day (9:00am-13:00pm), Boxing Day (TBC). Facilities close 30 minutes before closure time.
You will receive a welcome back with your itinerary and locations. This will include your dining bookings, leisure facilities, opening times and entertainment information.
Golf: If you are a competent golfer staying with us this Christmas, and would enjoy a festive round of golf on our Wales National Championship Course, you are welcome to book in a tee time completely FREE of charge for Boxing Day. Subject to availability. Tee times need to be pre-booked prior to arrival.
Spa: Why not begin your Christmas Break by treating yourself to an indulgent spa treatment on Christmas Eve? Our spa treatments are available to view and book here, Spa Treatments - Cardiff, South Wales - Vale Resort. Subject to availability. Treatments need to be pre-booked and paid for prior to arrival.
Entertainment: The Cinema Room will be available Christmas Eve and Christmas Day showing classic Christmas favourites. Children under 12 will require parental supervision.
Booking Policy: Should at of your booking details be incorrect, please contact us on 01443 667800 (option 1). A non refundable payment will be taken at the time of placing your booking. £100 per adult and £50 per child. The remaining balance and rooming list is required by 31st October 2026.
Hensol Castle Christmas Break
Arrival: Please arrive and enter at the front of Hensol Castle, our consierge will welcome you and help take your luggage to your bedroom whilst you park your car in our onsite car park.
Concierge: We have concierge available to drive you back and forth between the Vale Resort and Hensol Castle to use facilities as and when required.
