Castle Suite

This fantastic suite offers high ceilings and large windows, making it ideal for larger celebrations. The suite has its own private bar and a large terraced balcony overlooking the picture-perfect Lake golf course - ideal for a summer wedding barbecue!

  • Ceremony - 700 guests (theatre style)
  • Wedding breakfast - 400 guests
  • Drinks reception - 400 guests

Conservatory

This room is superb for a civil wedding any time of the year. Natural daylight beams through to create a bright airy setting, while the doors open onto a terrace overlooking the picture perfect Lake golf course.

Morgannwg Suite

Our most popular wedding room is the Morgannwg Suite, which is perfectly located on the first floor with its own private bar. This suite is bright and airy, and offers superb views of the Lake golf course from its own private balcony. A spiral staircase leads down to our terraced area.

When it comes to hosting an Indian or Asian wedding celebration, nowhere in Wales does it quite like us. The Vale Resort has two decades of experience hosting unforgettable events, and it shows. Our vast, landscaped grounds and eclectic mix of wedding rooms provide the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable Indian & Asian wedding, whatever you have in mind.

If you choose to have your civil ceremony wedding or civil partnership with us, rest assured you’re in experienced hands. After all, the Vale Resort has been the setting for hundreds of spectacular civil weddings in South Wales over the years and we’re proud to say no two have ever been the same. We don’t do things off-the-peg.

Hensol Castle Weddings

Call us biased but when it comes to planning a fairytale, we don’t think you’ll find a more idyllic wedding venue than Hensol Castle in the Vale of Glamorgan. Our 400-year-old Grade I-listed castle is the stuff of childhood dreams.

What time is check in and check out?

Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is from 11am

How long will the Vale Resort provisionally hold the wedding date?

We will hold the date for two weeks. After this time we require a deposit for £1,000 to confirm your booking which is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Do you have a list of recommended suppliers?

Yes absolutely! Our dedicated wedding coordinators would be happy to provide this for you, or alternatively it can be found in our wedding brochure.
