At the Vale Resort Day Nursery, our staff are dedicated and motivated to care for your children. All of our staff are carefully selected on the basis of of their qualifications, experience and requirements for the role. Each member of staff undergoes in-depth training, which covers areas such as safeguarding children, equal opportunities, health and safety and working together as part of a team. All members of our team are required to attend training in first aid and safeguarding regardless of their previous experience. All members of our team obtain a Level 3 Childcare Qualification, Paediatric First Aid, Child Protection and Food Hygiene certificates.
LEIGHAN DAVIES
NURSERY MANAGER
With 16 years experience within the Day Nursery, Leighan holds a BTEC National Certificate in Early Years, and is currently working towards a level 4 and 5 in management. A level 3 MAHPS play work qualification, level 2 in food hygiene, level 3 in food allergen management, fire Marshal, pediatric first aid, child protection training, prevent duty training along with an up to date DBS.
LAURA
UNDER 2'S TEAM LEADER
Laura has 8 years nursery experience along with 3 years management. She has worked with a range of ages from 3 months up to 8 years. Laura is DBS checked and holds her CCLD level 5. She has recently competed her Playworker level 3, Pediatric First Aid, Fire Marshal, Food hygiene, Infection Control, Safeguarding and Prevent duty.
LEANNE
OVER 2 NURSEY NURSE
With 17 years experience within the Day Nursery, Leanne holds an NVQ Level 3 Early Years Care and & a Level 3 Transition to play work. She also holds a level 2 in food hygiene, fire marshal, pediatric first aid child protection and prevent duty training along with an up to date DBS.
KATIE
OVER 2 NURSERY NURSE
With 4 years experience within the Day Nursery, Katie holds a CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Childcare & Education & Level 3 Transition to play work. She also holds a level 2 in food hygiene, pediatric first aid child protection and prevent duty training along with an up to date DBS.
JESS
UNDER 2 NURSERY NURSE
With 4 years experience within the Day Nursery, Jess holds a CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Childcare & Education & Level 3 Transition to play work. She also holds a level 2 in food hygiene, pediatric first aid child protection and prevent duty training along with an up to date DBS.

NURSERY NURSE
With 4 years experience in the Nursery, Hannah holds a CACHE Level 3 diploma in Childcare and Education. She also holds paediatric first aid, food hygiene, prevent duty and child protection training along with an up to date DBS.
ELLI
NURSERY NURSE
With 5 years experience in the childcare sector, Elli holds a Level 3 CCLD and a play worker qualification. She also holds pediatric first aid, food hygiene and child protection training along with an up to date DBS.
ERIN
NURSERY NURSE
With 1 year experience in the Nursery, Erin holds a Level 3 CCPLD. She also holds pediatric first aid, food hygiene, prevent duty and child protection training along with an up to date DBS
LEAH
NURSERY NURSE
Leah has recently qualified and has joined our Nursery team. She holds a Level 3 CCPLD and pediatric first along with an up to date DBS. Leah is looking forward developing her career in childcare and development and is keen on working towards her food hygiene, child protection and prevent duty training.
LAUREN
NURSERY ASSISTANT
Lauren is a valued member of the team who is keen on building her experience with children. She is currently studying a degree in child nursing and is very experienced in pediatric first aid and holds an up to date DBS.
