We’re really passionate about good food at the Vale Resort. A leisurely brunch, a distinctly Welsh afternoon tea, a traditional Sunday lunch with all the trimmings or award-winning fine dining: it’s safe to say we’ve got your taste buds covered.
Whichever of the Vale Resort’s restaurants you choose, you will find the same commitment to simple, unpretentious dishes that let the ingredients do the talking. Think fresh, local produce that is thoughtfully sourced, cooked with love and bursting with flavour.
If you’re hungry for food that’s deliciously modern, farm-to-table fresh and scrape-the-plate tasty then you won’t want to miss dining at the Vale Grill. This is where the culinary magic happens. Our chefs are a dab hand at creating unforgettable dishes from the finest locally-supplied ingredients, season after season, and given the explosion of fantastic artisanal food producers in this part of Wales, there’s plenty to choose from. Our Sunday lunches are outrageously good. It’s not just the menu that’s fresh and inviting, either.
The Vale Grill’s stylish, floor-to-ceiling glass conservatory ensures dining here is always a light-filled and uplifting experience with spectacular views of the Vale Resort’s Lake Golf Course to savour. It’s the perfect place to enjoy our afternoon tea with friends and family. In the summer, weather permitting, we open up the terrace, too, so you can dine al fresco.
There’s far more to the Vale Bar than tasty local craft beers but we reckon they’re a pretty good place to start. Its copper-accented décor is modern and airy and its family-friendly menu is committed to simple, informal food that looks good and tastes great. You’ll find plenty of nods to our Welsh heritage here, too.
We like our ‘cwtches’ in Wales, which is why we’ve named two snug booths after them. Retreat there for a laid-back, but more private, dining or drinking experience with friends. We’re proud to be a home-away-from-home for the Wales national rugby and football teams, too, so keep your eyes peeled for our sporting memorabilia. Yes, that really is a signed Real Madrid shirt. No, you can’t have it.
A grand piano, modern art, plush sofas and ambient lighting: when you fancy a glass with class, pre-dinner drinks at Salamanza Champagne bar are a must. From 6pm until late, the bar’s master mixologist works his magic, crafting cocktails to suit every mood. For those seeking a sparkly sundowner, Salamanza’s top-drawer bubbly comes courtesy of centuries-old Champagne house Laurent-Perrier. Ooh la la.
