We want you to see what goes on behind the scenes at the Vale Resort, and meet the people who make it!
Scarlett is our lovely Senior Spa Therapist, Scarlett assists in preforming treatments, helping out on the spa reception desk to meet and greet guests along with answering any queries.
Once I finished my A-Levels in school I decided to go to college to do my NVQ Level two and three in Beauty Therapy. This took me two years to complete. Once I finished my course I applied for the Vale Spa as a casual Spa Therapist. Seven years later I am still here, and about a year and a half ago I became the Spa Senior Therapist.
I enjoy my job at the Vale Spa, I love the team of people that I work with on a day to day basis. I enjoying giving guests the best experience that they can have and making sure they are fully relaxed and at ease in our spa. We get so many guests coming through the doors of the spa but I love it when we have our regular customers and members, we get to know them and always have a good chat!
My typical day consists of opening up the spa in the morning and checking all our day spa and hotel guest in, I work closely with our head Therapist Michaela on the day to day running of the Spa. As part of my job role, I ensure that products are ready and available for the Therapists to use.
I have a two-year-old son called Ted at home, He takes up all my free time! I love spending my free time with Ted and my husband, we spend lots of time at the beach or the park, anything to burn off Ted's energy, along with our crazy dog Dexter! I also really enjoy entertaining our family and friends in our home.
I'd say that my favourite spa treatment to give would have to be a facial, I love how everyone’s skin is completely different and how using the wide range of skincare that we have available in the Spa it can change a clients skin. I love the advice that we can give a client to help improve their skin.
If I were to swap lives with anyone for a day I'd say it would have to be …. I'm still thinking of this one, I can't decide!
