Golf is in the Vale Resort’s DNA. We built our Lake golf course before we built the rest of the resort, and as we have grown, so has our passion for the sport. When it comes to golf tuition, we don’t mess around. We are a Ryder Cup Centre of Excellence after all. There are few better places to perfect your game in South Wales than here with us. For starters, our golf coaching facilities include a 16-bay driving range, three practice putting greens, short game practice area and club custom-fit centre.
Then there’s our A-team of experienced PGA golf coaching professionals, which includes our head PGA coaching professional Keith Williams, who has been at the Vale Resort for over a decade. Every member of our coaching team is driven by a desire to ensure your golf lessons arm you with the knowledge and skills you need to improve. Whether you’re a novice seeking guidance on the basics, or a more experienced player looking to lower your handicap or step-up your swing, we can help. Did we mention our cutting-edge swing and ball flight analysis technology? Add this into the mix and you’re likely to be shaving shots off your game in no time.
When it comes to golf lessons, we find short and to-the-point work best, so most of our lessons are just 30 minutes long. That said, we do offer longer sessions for groups along with junior golf coaching programmes and customised packages. You’re always welcome to make a day of it, with on-course coaching accompanied by a light bite to eat and full access to our exceptional facilities.
