Banqueting Head Chef

A four-star resort delivering five-star service levels, the Vale Resort comprises of a 143 bedroom hotel with five food outlets, two championship golf courses, Wales’ largest spa and health and racquets club. Recent expansion of the resort now includes newly developed Hensol Castle comprising of 20 bedrooms and extensive wedding and conference business.

Due to exceptional demand, we are looking to increase our team at the resort and are currently recruiting for a Banqueting Head Chef. 

Leading the Resort kitchen banqueting team, you will be responsible for supervising and motivating the team. Ensuring the highest quality of food and standards are upheld.

Main duties include:

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive experience working in a four star/ five star hotel with kitchen management experience. The candidate will also need a full understanding of HACCP and its importance with the ability to lead in Health & Safety and Food Safety and minimum of Level 2 Food Safety qualification required Level 3 Food Safety qualification preferred. 

The role is 45 hours per week with flexibility to work between the hours of 6 am- Close. In return we offer a Salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum along with:
