Due to exceptional demand, we are looking to increase our team at the Vale Resort and are currently recruiting for a Commis Chef.
Working as part of the Resort kitchen team, you will assist the chefs in all areas of the kitchen as instructed, ensuring the highest quality of food and standards are upheld and delivered to our guests.
The role requires flexibility to work 5 days per week between the Resort’s opening hours.
We offer a salary of £21,060 per annum along with;
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate minimum 1 year experience working in the kitchen. Must be a team player, committed and driven to achieve high standards and departmental goals. You will have a strong passion for culinary excellence, the ability to assist in food preparation in an efficient manner with a passion to develop as a commis chef.
Who we are
The Vale Resort, part of the Leekes Group of Companies, has been operating since 1999 and is the official hotel and training venue for the Wales national rugby and football teams.
The four star resort deliver five star service levels and comprises of a 143 bedroom hotel with five food outlets, two championship golf courses, and Wales’ largest spa, health, and racquets club. Recent expansion of the resort now includes newly developed Hensol Castle comprising of 20 bedrooms and extensive wedding and conference business.
