Event Sales Co-ordinator

We are currently looking to recruit an Event Sales Coordinator. You will maximise the sales and profitability of the department by effectively managing the Resort M.I.C.E enquiries and maximizing conversion levels to confirmed bookings.

Main Duties

Progress provisional bookings in a professional and efficient manner ensuring a sales conversion.
Communicate with your team to ensure best sales rates are achieved across all business areas and are competitive.
Pass new business enquiries / leads to the Sales Managers.
Support the sales team with administration
Produce accurate and up to date function sheets for the operational team.
Manage your own diary to ensure you are available to meet clients for show arounds and follow up meetings as the needs of the client dictate.
Answer any incoming calls in a polite and courteous manner ensuring the clients name is used throughout each call.
Ensure all clients receive a follow up email / written confirmation of their enquiry with a brochure and any requested documents within one working day. Also providing full details of our website.
Enter all enquires on the database and any provisional or confirmed bookings onto the V1 system.

You will have experience working in a similar role and be confident speaking to clients. You will have great attention to detail and committed to working as a team. Above all you will be comfortable working in a sales environment with the ability to up sell.

Salary: £21k + bonus
