Keith had a successful amateur career representing Wales and Great Britain & Ireland. He then turned professional in 1987 becoming a fully qualified member of the P.G.A. in 1991.
Keith joined the Vale Resort in 2005 after working as a golf coach in Houston, Texas. He enjoys working with golfers of all ages and abilities from the beginner to the elite player. His philosophy is to channel the natural ability of each golfer in order to maximise their potential using his wealth of knowledge and experience utilising the latest technologies such as Trackman and high speed video.
Kurtis Wara
PGA Professional
Kurtis had a good amateur career as a junior being one of the youngest winners to win the Glamorgan U18s championship at 15 years old. He also represented his county from the age of 13 right the way up until 18 years old. Following his junior years, he become a double club champion in 2018, winning the club championships at The Vale Resort and Cardiff golf club.
Kurtis joined the team in 2017, then the PGA in 2021, giving up his amateur status. He enjoys working with golfers with different abilities, while also trying to grow the junior section. His coaching philosophy is to work with the client’s swing and their limitations to help get the best out of the golfer. As everyone’s swing is different, this is done through his high level of knowledge, while also using the latest trackman and video technology.
