Next time stay at our resort, you may notice something different. As part of our eco commitment, we have replaced our bedroom amenities, and now offer Era, a more environmentally friendly product.
We have chosen to switch to the Era collection in our hotel bedrooms because we don't want to sacrifice quality but also understand we have a responsibility to the planet. The Era collection comprises of a gentle body wash, nourishing shampoo, enriching conditioner and soothing body lotion, all White Tea and Jasmine scented.
What makes the Era collection environmentally friendly is that the packaging contains d2w. D2w accelerates the natural process of oxidation until the product is no longer plastic but a material that can be bio-assimilated; used as a food source by bacteria and fungi on land and sea. The packaging can still be recycled alongside ordinary plastic, however, if it escapes collection and ends up as litter in the environment it will degrade and biodegrade in a continuous, irreversible and unstoppable process.
D2w has been awarded an internationally recognised Eco-label and was the first technology of its kind.
We are continuously looking at ways to improve our carbon footprint. As well as introducing the era collection, we have also removed Christmas crackers from the majority of our Christmas parties this year.
